Remember, they usually expire 4 days after printing--the expiration date in the account is the date they will be available until in your account. Are you read for some Black Friday Shopping? I guess you could say this was a "Lucky 13" trip for my gift card challenge. Probably the biggest in terms of money makers and total amount saved. Because of the Holiday Weekend, and wanting to be spending extra time with my family, I am giving a brief, rather than in-depth, shopping report for this trip. I spent $.24 plus tax ($8.48) and saved $222.34--by paying with the gift card I earned on.

Superpoints is an online earning site that rewards members with points that can be turned in for Paypal, Amazon gift cards, other gift cards and prizes (no CVS GCs yet). The Amazon gift cards can come in handy for buying printer ink and paper for coupons and Paypal can be used for CVS shopping trips. Go to CVS.com and print this great new coupon: $3 off Total CVS Shopping Trip When You Buy Three Hallmark Cards. Wish I had seen this before I did my Black Friday Shopping, but I am not sure when it showed up. You can print two per computer and it says limit one per purchase--so you can do both. It expires in one month.

CVS sells a magazine called "Reinventing Beauty" that is found near the register, the sales fliers or in the beauty aisle. It is priced at $.99 and contains many coupons. Many stores do not seem to have it. Often there will be the coupon inserts lying around for free. Since there was confusion about the advertised Aveeno deal, buy 2 get $7, and the size advertised, I decided to skip the trial size on Monday. Tho I knew my store would honor the ad and give me the extra bucks, I felt if CVS didn't intend it to be included I would skip it. As I reported, later in the week it was fixed and the extra bucks were printing.

There has been much discussion about the buy two Aveeno get $7 extra buck deal which shows in the ad.5 oz and above. Some shoppers were getting the 1 oz. trial size @ $1.49 each and the extra bucks were not printing but many stores were printing them anyways. Then shoppers were calling 800shopcvs whose didn't print and the stores wouldn't print them and corporate was issuing the extra bucks.

I have not done it yet, but I am sure it has all the regular stipulations of no sale items, etc. But if you do rebates, they can come in handy for them, and often if you use with your regular order they will.

When I looked over the deals from the 11/6 CVS Weekly Ad I didn't think I'd be bringing home much, but as always, CVS never ceases to amaze me. My only extra buck deal was the buy three Hallmark cards get $3--so I got three 99 cent cards free. I had two of the Illy cafe drink scanner coupons from last week so picked those up free. We were one of the few areas that got the $2/2 Softsoap.

This is on sale periodically at CVS and with the baking season coming up it will surely be on sale--so grab this coupon while you can.
