With the rash of data breaches at some of the major retailers in the past years, consumers are becoming more wary of flashing their debit and credit cards at brick and mortar stores when they could be using cash. In 2008-2009 when we had the credit crunch and recession, there was at least one day when stores were not accepting credit.
