Are Credit Cards From Grocery Stores Worth It?

According to this NY Times posting , from December 2009 to December 2010, corn and coffee shot up over 50%, wheat just shy of 50%, over 25% for soybeans, and the list goes on. If you think prices at the grocery stores are bad now, they are going to become a lot worse if this trend doesn’t do a reversal in the very near future!

Why Use Cash?

At the time, I didn’t have credit cards so it was a valid concern. As an adult, I use both cash and credit as well as checks. Unless you provide the store with a store card to identify you and what you are buying, your purchases are not traceable back to you. Some places do not accept credit cards.
