Today Hasbro announced it will debut a boy-friendly Easy Bake Oven in February 2013 after a
led by a 13-year-old New Jersey girl gained support from over 44,000 people and top celebrity chefs, including Bobby Flay.

Here's what Change.org sent over:

Eighth-grader McKenna Pope started a
asking Hasbro to feature boys on their packaging materials and to make the oven available in non-gender specific colors to encourage her little brother to pursue his passion for cooking.

So what happened?

Hasbro gave Pope a preview of the new product set for unveiling February 2013 and will be on shelves Summer 2013.

That's just enough time to whip up some summer cupcakes or brownies, right?

The color for current models on the shelf is purple after a redesign last year.  The new model will be more gender neutral.

Current pricing is around $39.99.
