7 Easy DIY 4th of July Decor Ideas

The 4th of July is just around the corner! I’ve found that décor for this patriotic holiday can be harder to find and when you do it never seems to be exactly what you’re looking for. Over the years, I have started to make some of my own 4th of July décor and many things that I’ve made are so easy and so cute that everyone at your 4th of July Party will be asking you where you bought them!

Take a look at some of these DIY 4th of July décor ideas and see if you like any enough to make them yourself!

  • DIY Lanterns via Thrifty Décor Chick. All you need is a mason jar, some sand, a flameless tea light and a small American flag and you are on your way to making these adorable lanterns. Use them as centerpieces or as a welcoming entryway display.
  • Clothespin Wreath via Preciously Paired. This may look complicated but it really is very easy. This takes approximately 60 clothespins depending on the wreath ring you purchase. This is a fun craft to do with kids and can be stored easily for years to come.
  • Patriotic Flower Pot via LollyJane. I’ve made this pot and used star stickers. This is fun because you can choose to cover the pot completely or leave it splotchy for a more rustic look. Another great one to do with the kids. You can even give each person their own pot so it reflects their individual style!
  • No Sew 4th of July Table Runner viaCassiesmallwood. This table runner is adorable and so easy to make. I love this because you don’t have any limits. You can use burlap or fabric as your base runner and then go from there. I love the look of the bandanas on this! Best part? No sewing!
  • Monogrammed Paint Stick Flag via Living Rich with Coupons. This DIY calls for paint sticks, but you could definitely use popsicle sticks if you’re okay with smaller flags.
  • Paper Lanterns via The Crafting Chicks. This one is 100% kid friendly. I love having some type of craft at my parties for the kids to be able to make something to take home. This is perfect for that.
  • 4th of July Sparkler Centerpieces via Freutcake. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Pineapples painted red, white, and blue, add a couple of sparklers you’ve got yourself a unique centerpiece!

Whichever way you wish to celebrate Independence Day, you can now do it in style with your DIY décor.
