Swim with stingrays, swim through a shipwreck, and check out an artificial reef. Not everything is sand and sea though.

Bali (and the Gili Islands) - Are you looking for water activities? Jordan - If you want to indulge in some desert activities, or visit the Dead Sea, Jordan is full of things for the solo traveler to do, including glamping, shopping and exploring ruins. If so, Bali has it all: surfing, scuba, snorkeling, white water rafting.

So, if you're just a person who likes to see the scenery from the car as you're driving through, or you like hiking long distances, or a combination of both, check out the I ce Age, New England, and North Country Trails. These are things I would travel to National Parks for.
