AMAZON: Changed Free Shipping Policy
Calling all Amazon lovers. Amazon has changed its free shipping policy and you’re most likely not going to like it. The free shipping minimum has been changed from $35 to a whopping $49. That means if you are not a Prime member, you’ll have to hit the $49 mark in your cart to get free shipping — it used to be $35. I remember when the free shipping minimum used to be just $25 a few years ago. Sadly, those days are far behind us!
The good news is that Prime members will not experience any sort of changes. This is yet another reason I am a big fan of Amazon Prime. I think that Amazon is trying to push more people into joining prime with this free shipping minimum increase. It could also backfire and people might start shopping with other online sites with lower shipping minimums. What do you think?
If you aren’t an Amazon Prime member, now would be an awesome time to join! You can get a 30-day FREE trial to Amazon Prime which includes 2-day FREE shipping on hundreds of thousands of items, early access to Amazon Lightning Deals, access to Prime Only deals, stream tens of thousands of movies and TV shows plus lots more!
