The Junior League of Birmingham's Bargain Carousel is this weekend with the preview party scheduled for tomorrow night.
This is a great opportunity to help charity and score some great treasures.
I stopped by there last week and spotted great deals on furniture, outdoor gear, decorations, strollers, bicycles and more.
Here are some details from the Junior League:
Get a Sneak Peak:
- As in previous years, the event will kick off with the Bargain Bash on Thursday, April 26.
o At 6 p.m. doors open for the Patron Party, allowing first access to the sale.
o Amanda LeBlanc of The Amanda's (The Style Network's New Hit TV Show) has committed to creating an "organizational" vignette at the Pre-Party/Bargain Bash using a mix of Bargain Carousel items and some of her best selling products from 6pm-8pm. Amanda and her staff members will be available to answer questions, share organizational tips, etc.
· Bargain Bash tickets may be purchased in advance at www.jlbonline.com or at the door the night of the event. Patron Party tickets are $40 and Bargain Bash tickets are $30.
· Shoppers at the Patrons party are often seen nabbing great buys for college students, lake houses, and "project" pieces. Guests of the fundraising event pay double price for merchandise
· The two-day event for the general public will kick off Saturday, April 28 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 29th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the old Mazer's space located at 816 Green Springs Highway in Homewood.
· Tickets are $5 at the door or for purchase Friday, April 27 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the sale location.
