CHELSEA 
Chelsea Park Elementary will be holding its annual Fall Festival on Friday, October 26, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
Organizers plan a silent auction, vendor booths with items to purchase, inflatables, games, entertainment, food and much more.
Tickets will be available for purchase at Chelsea Park Elementary the week of the event for a discounted rate of $.50 per ticket and also the night of the event for $.60.
Everyone is welcome.
 
This is the largest fundraiser for the PTO who provide support and assistance to the faculty and staff of Chelsea Park Elementary throughout the year.

Providence UMC Invites Families to Trunk or Treat

Spanish Fort, Ala. –

Fabulous fall fun awaits the whole family at Providence United Methodist's second annual Trunk or Treat, Sunday, October 28 from 4-6 p.m.

Kids dressed in their Halloween finery can safely trick or treat in the Church’s parking lot from trunks and truck beds.  Families can also go batty with:  a hay ride, pony rides, cotton candy, pumpkin painting, a cupcake walk, and other fun activities!  There will be a cookout with hotdogs and hamburgers.

All activities are free, open to the community, and will be at Providence United Methodist Church in Spanish Fort.  The church building is located at 32200 Jimmy Faulkner Drive, between Spanish Fort High School and Middle School.  For more information visit

Come visit us at Frank Jackson State Park, located in Opp, Alabama during the months of October through November.  Scarecrows will line the walking trails of Lake Frank Jackson State Park.  The event is hosted by the Lake Frank Jackson Trailmasters who started the event in 2008.  The scarecrows are creatively made by various individuals, businesses, and school groups.  Approximately 3 miles of walking trails will take on festive and original characters during this 4th annual "Scarecrows In The Park" event.

Come join us at Wind Creek for our Annual Halloween Carnival.With fun and Games for the kids. Starting on the 19th at 7 p.m. with a pumpkin carving contest, and a story for the kids. On the 20th at 12 p.m. we will have our costume contest followed by our carnival at 1p.m. to 3 p.m. with inflatables, dart throw, go fish, bean bag toss, ping pong toss, ring toss, pickup ducks, basketball and football throw, and cake walk, with cokes and popcorn.     BPL will host several family-friendly Halloween events in October 
    The Birmingham Public Library is ready to scare up some Halloween fun this month with decorated pumpkins, costume contests and more. 
    Back for another year will be the Ghouls' Ball, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the downtown Birmingham library, 2100 Park Place. The event, which is for ages 13 to 18, will include music, dancing, food, treats, balloon sculptures, animals, a photo booth, free books and Wii tournaments. The event is free. However, tickets are required for admittance and must be picked up in advance at the downtown library and branches. Call 226-3655 for more information.
