I am a theatre teacher at Hazel Green High School. For the past year the baseball coach, Coach Orr, and I have collaborated on producing our first ever Haunted Howell event at Bear Claw Paintball in Howell, TN.
The haunted experience in the woods of Howell, TN, is an hour long walking adventure where chaperones will guide our guests through 6 major scenes and other small scenes in the woods. The experience is $15. All funds raised will go towards the Hazel Green Theatre and Baseball programs. The baseball program is trying to complete a brand new baseball field on the east side of the HG campus. The theatre dept. is raising funds for our various festivals, scripts, props, costumes and a plethora of other needs for our theatre.
This is our first major project to work together on and we are utilizing over 80 students a night in the woods, over 25 parent volunteers, and a host of security personnel provided by Bear Claw Paintball. The event opens next Friday night and runs from 6-11 PM each night. The event will take place on Friday and Saturday nights during the last 3 weekends of October, along with Halloween night.
