that we got an electric water heater last year Last winter, my landlords switched our hot water from an oil-powered boiler to an electric water heater, and boy was I thankful for that this week. I’m pretty sure a crabby attitude would have surfaced around day two. Otherwise, we’d have been without hot water for this whole week.

Boy, did that hurt! The biggest money mistake I’ve made was in my early 30s. In preparation for a big move, I took out $10,000 from my retirement plan. At tax time, Uncle Sam took $5,000 right back. What can I say… I was young, misguided, uninformed, and naive!

Boy, I feel your pain here. I am also very curious if service people receive 100% of the tips given via credit cards and apps. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Things have gotten so expensive. I want to reward good service, but I feel like everyone’s hand is out. is a challenge.

Tell us a little about yourself I’m a married mother of two teenage boys (18 and 16) who grew up in the country near a small town in Iowa. I found it was bleeding into my home life in a negative way and I wanted to take a break and spend the summer with my boys who were 5 and 7 at the time. Fancy restaurant food.

I’ve been looking into phones and plans, and boy does it get overwhelming! Oh, and it’s worth mentioning that we can’t add him onto our T-Mobile account, as we are on a grandfathered plan and would have to change plans completely, which would end up increasing our monthly cost. We really didn’t have much money to spend, all my clothes were hand-me-downs (mostly from my older boy-cousin, not fun when you are a teenage girl, and you have to wear boys’ clothes!). Pure necessity: I grew up with a single mom, who was only working odd jobs most of the time. And I love to pick wild berries when I go for my walks.
