Omg I have to agree with the lionville…I will not shop there, they are very rude. Can’t wait to hear about the ip issue..they will loose a lot of business!
Diana says
At my Giant there was a sweet deal on Ball Park items. The hot dogs are BOGO and I used (2) $1/1 coupons. Then the buns were on sale 2/$5 and I used a $1/2 coupon. THEN found out when you buy one Ball Park hot dog and one Ball park bun you got a free Pepsi Max! Woot!! So for $6 I got 2 packs of hot dogs, 2 packs of buns and 2 bottles of soda.

I went to my local Giant yesterday, and was informed that they are no longer accpting ANY internet printed coupons! I was shocked! Has anyone else had this happen to them? This was in Exton, PA.
Shannon says
Jessica,
head right on over to the Giant Facebook page and ask them what that is all about. Were you at the one in Lionville or right on 100 at Fairfield. I wont shop at Lionville anymore because they are just RUDE to couponers. The manager said to me that they dont have many couponers around those parts and that couponers usually shopped at their stores in demographics with less “resources”. UGH.
Janine says
Yeah..which one is it Jessica? The Lionville one or the one in Exton by the Toys’RUs? I go to the Lionville one..and I know what you mean Shannon about them being rude. The wouldn’t accept my $5.00 off Ben Gay coupon a while back. grrr
Shannon says
Janine, OH MY it was that same coupon. Seriously I almost lost it with that manager, she was got a g piece of my mind and a half.

I work for GIANT/Martin’s Brookhaven, while store coupon policy varies from store to store, the main policy is that coupons for $5.00 or more must be overridden into the computer system. It’s how the computers work to avoid coupon fraud, a system that doesn’t allow coupon coding. A lot of time if its a printed internet coupon, managers are less likely to accept them because of fear of them being fraudulent because its for such a high price off. So don’t be discouraged but if they deny a clipped manufacturer’s coupon, i would talk to corporate offices.

This was the one near the Toys R’ Us. They were at least nice about it, but after trying to scan my 2 coffeemate coupons, the cashier informed me that the store was no longer accepting any internet coupons because they’re “invalid”. She actually said anything that ends in a “.com” they won’t take.
I’ll head over to Facebook now, thanks!
