Check out my step-by-step guide to Meal planning ! *** This week is a little up-in-the-air since my Lil' Peanut is scheduled to have a tonsillectomy (she's been sick so were waiting to find out if it needs to be rescheduled). BREAKFAST: Freezer French Toast w/ bananas x2 Yogurt and fruit & Cream of Wheat Smoothies x2-3 Steel-cut oats w/ applesauce and cinnamon x2 SNACKS: Veggies: Cucumbers, Carrots, Cabbage, Spinach, Kale, Cabbage, Broccoli, Fruit: Grapes, Bananas, Strawberries, Tomatoes Applesauce Jell-o Cheese

Menu Plan Monday: 3/15-3/21/10
So we plan to scrimp & save our pennies and do something for the big 10 next year (I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a tour of The Outer Banks lighthouses , which will include a few ferry rides, Kitty Hawk (where the Wright Brothers made their first flight), Roanoke Island, and a trip to an island inhabitated by wild horses!). Here's the menu plan for this week. I kind of giddy with excitement. Hubs and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary this week!

First up, here’s my meat purchases for the week…pepperoni for pizza, and an all-natural chicken ($1.49/pound, which isn’t too bad for really good chicken).

So, while I’ve managed to cook dinner and get school with the kids done, I haven’t had any blocks of time long enough to go to the store (not to mention plan a menu and make a list!).
