Free health care with a lot of caveats
If you lost your job and health insurance you may be able to get free basic health care through Walgreens’ Take Care Clinics. The drugstore is offering free care through 2009 to existing patients who can prove they lost their jobs and health insurance on April 2, 2009 or later. No joke! None in LA, unfortunately.
