70% Off Mini Food Storage Containers

Amazon is offering a deal for 70% off these convenient mini food storage containers! The 2.3oz. capacity is the perfect size for homemade baby food, meal prepping, or even storing small craft supplies.

You can get 20 round containers for $6.00 (reg. $20.06) or 20 rectangular containers for $6.00 (reg. $14.67)!

Having things in the house that make it easier to make and store your own food is guaranteed to save you money. It will encourage you to limit the times you eat out and help you save the food you’re already making instead of throwing it away.

Here are some of my favorite ways to use these containers:

Homemade baby food. From diapers to baby formula, we all know that baby products in general are marked up an insane amount. And baby food is certainly no exception! When you think about the actual cost of ingredients to make a tiny little jar of baby food, it’s a no brainer to commit an hour or two every week to make your own. Not to mention the added benefit of being able to control exactly what your baby is eating. Check out my recent post of homemade baby food recipes to get your started!

Snacks for the kids. You can use these for your older kids, too! These containers have kid-friendly, easy-peel lids that are leak safe, making them perfect for school lunches or trips to the park. You don’t have to spend money on those expensive snack packs anymore. Instead, you’ll be able to buy in bulk (huge money saver) or even make your own healthy snacks at home.

Portion control. If you’re on a new year, new me kick, small containers like this will help you portion out meals and snacks so that you don’t end up eating too much. I like to buy value-size bags of almonds because they are half the price (per oz.) of smaller bags at the grocery store. But if I’m not careful, I’ll end up eating half the bag in one sitting! To stop that from happening, I divvy it up into smaller containers like these so that I know when the container is empty, I’m done snacking. This works for all kinds of dry snacks, as well as dips, dressings and sauces.

These containers are BPA Free and safe for use in the refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. However, they are not safe for microwaves!
