Maybe We'll Pass on That Pension
Of course, recent markets have slowed our progress a bit!)
Our And then I read State Pensions Face Steep Shortfalls from FiLife which highlights the exact problem I was concerned about. When my husband started his career as an employee of the State of Minnesota (he's a community college instructor), he was given two options for a retirement plan.
One One option was a teacher pension fund (which guarantees a set dollar amount each year when you retire based on your years of experience and salary when you retire) and the other option was an individualized retirement plan

Video: Live Fab-u-LE$$: WPBF: How to find upscale goods for a discount price.
Some of those stores even sweeten your savings by offering either discounts during the month of your birthday and/or offering an additional percentage off to seniors on a certain day of the week. Outlet stores offer goods, most often first quality and in season goods, at a steep discount-- and be sure to sign up for their mailing lists as they do occasionally offer coupons and discounts to those customers who sign up for their mailing list. Of course, at the end of the rental period you will have to return the item in the same condition that you received it in but it's a fabuLESS way

The Teashop Girls by Laura Schaefer Review + Sweeps!
But an eviction notice spells trouble for the Steeping Leaf. Like the mismatched interior of the Steeping Leaf cafe, the eclectic, slightly cluttered nature of this book won’t be everyone’s cup of you-know-what, but those who share the heroine’s passion for funk (and, of course, tea) will drink it up. This book helps by introducing a soothing sense of encouragement by rallying friends together to save The Steeping Leaf. Click on the Cover to view the official website of The Teashop Girls!

Payday Loans vs. Credit Cards
The question we have to ask ourselves here though, of course, is who's right? Then, of course, we have that big ol' stereotype that payday lenders are bad evil people and are out to steal your money! you'll still pay a steep price for it - anywhere from 15-25%. Of course, there's Payday Loans vs. Credit Cards - which are worse to take out cash from?

Disneyland Insider: does it save you money?
Military families with proper paperwork can get steep discounts on multi-day passes .
The parks will let you in free on your birthday in 2009 (of course, everyone else in your party has to pay to get in.)
My step-father joined the Disney Insider email list , run by the theme park, in hopes of getting a coupon or discount. (He He really wants to take his grandsons on their inaugural trip to Disneyland.)
