Thursday I had a day full of exhausting happenings (none of which were school-related) and by the time dinner rolled around, I was not in good shape to cook. Friday I have some chili in the freezer, and I’m thinking I’ll get that out for dinner. What did you have for dinner this week? And Zoe was down with a cold.

What We Ate Saturday Zoe was at a gathering with a friend, and I made myself some whole-wheat blueberry pancakes for dinner. I continued my little breakfast-for-dinner weekend by making a plate of potato wedges, fried eggs, and sliced avocado with a grapefruit on the side. Zoe got dinner out with a friend while I was gone.

And I had another downtown appointment shortly before dinner… …so I picked up some Panera for Zoe and me and we watched a movie together. Tuesday I got back late from an orientation about an hour away, so I popped by Panera and picked up dinner for Zoe and me, using a gift card from my credit card rewards. $0 Wednesday Breakfast for dinner: we had Swedish pancakes , bacon, and sliced mango.
