Frugal Fashion: DIY Old T-shirt Scarf, No Sew + Old T-shirt Pinterest Board

The other day I had  one of those days where I didn't know what to wear to work.

I had a sweater on, a tank top and slacks with flats but it needed something.

Not a necklace

My scarfs didn't match and I didn't have the time to stop and buy a matching scarf.

(Who would do that anyway, right?  Just change into something else.)

I'll admit, I thought about stopping.

Quickly I changed my mind when I grabbed one of my husbands old ribbed gray T-shirts.

It was the same gray as my tank top.

Then I braided it.  But it still needed something, so I cut the edges to make some fringe.

Yep  -- I couldn't stop myself.

I pulled each piece to curl the edges.

It took me 10 minutes.

Ever done something similar?
