Bottom Dollar Closing All Stores
If you are a Bottom Dollar Shopper, here is some big news!
The company that owns Bottom Dollar Food Stores is closing all of the stores by the end of the year. Delhaize Group announced Wednesday it has sold the 66 locations to ALDI Inc. Bottom Dollar says it anticipates keeping stores open until the end of the year.
The news release does not say if there are any plans to convert the Bottom Dollar stores into Aldi stores.

Bottom Dollar also operates 66 stores in the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia areas.
According to a news release on the Delhaize website, the $15 million deal is expected to be completed by early next year. Delhaize, a food retailer serving 3,386 stores around the world, says it is selling the stores to focus on other aspects of its business.
