While double coupon programs have helped families save on their grocery bills, I can see where this will be a trend across the grocery industry as margins and competition shift.
There are a number of ways to save without double coupons.
It will be interesting to see what Kroger's new price point schedule will look like as shoppers will undoubtedly compare prices to Walmart now or shop at Aldi instead.
