I did this deal tonight and did NOT get any extra bucks. I looked all over the sale ad but could not find reference to this. Has anyone else had success with this?
Debbie says
Lisa, I would look at the my weekly ad section on cvs.com for your individual store. If it is listed, I would take a screen shot and go back to the store.
Lisa S says
Debbie, you are brilliant! I would not have thought of that. I looked up my local store and DID find that deal. I will return to the store to show this to the manager. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to reply to my post!
Debbie says
You’re welcome. I hope it works out for you!

Wow. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with CVS. I thought I should speak to them first before bothering the local manager about this. The weird part is that at the bottom of my receipt, it showed that this week’s EB offer was Edge Buy 1 Get 2 EB and that I had the required quantity to earn this reward, yet it did not print. Furthermore, I was charged $3.39 instead of $2.99. Customer relations is going to credit me within 48 hours to correct the mistake. They thanked me for calling them first so they could report the problem. They explained that if I had gone to the local manager, then the problem would not have been reported.

Thanks for the update Lisa. Sounds like somebody at CVS dropped the ball on this sale, especially if it printed on the receipt. Glad they are giving you credit and hopefully your call will get the issue fixed for other customers.
