I'm sure you noticed the changes to Facebook this morning.

We've learned to grow with these changes.  Also you should watch for more in the next week or so.

Anyway to deal with today's changes here are some items to check out:

1. I love lists and in fact that's how I manage the 3,000 + things I'm a fan of.

I create lists on the left mine are called FAV 1 THROUGH 7.

It's not new it has just been a hidden feature until recently.

Once you see a post appearing in your feed, you can click on the arrow and add it to your list.  So if you follow brands, blogs and other pages you can add them to a list and get organized.

It will look like this --

Click on MORE then you can create lists or you can add pages to certain list by hovering over the arrows and then accesses the drop down menu.

2.  The Recent News & Top News features of your feed --

It's really annoying in terms of managing content if you're using your Facebook for work or other quick news gathering reason.  To get the top story off of the top, go through the TOP STORIES  and click on the drop down box to the right and click REMOVE FROM TOP STORY.

Once you do that it will remove it from the feed.  Do it a couple of times and the whole feature will be gone.  You'll have to do that when you visit Facebook after an absence.  It's painless and quick.

Here's what the create the list will look like:

Once you create a list you'll see these options - where you can add friends or pages you like.

It will look like this --

3.  Fan pages are the same except there's a FRIEND ACTIVITY button.  (Which is useless in my opinion and clutters up the panel.)

Right now if you're a page owner you can't remove it.  I hope that changes.

This is what it will look like:

4.  If you're not seeing someone's updates go to their wall and click on SUBSCRIBED at the top right and select all updates.

You can also customize it to block games and activity.

5.  SUBSCRIBING TO YOUR FRIENDS UPDATES --

You can one in fell swoop subscribe to all of your friends -- once you hide everything from something, you'll see an EDIT NEWS FEED OPTIONS  click it and your friends will pull up with SUBSCRIBE buttons to the left.  You can go through the list and click on the ones you want for sure to appear in your news feed.

IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS:
