What you'll need:
Large cooler
6 quarts of hot water
1 pound of salt
1 pound of brown sugar
5 pounds of ice
1 large turkey 14 to 16 pounds
Directions:
Pour 6 quarts of hot water into the cooler, then add the salt and brown sugar and stir.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Add ice
Add turkey
Cover the cooler and let it sit for 8 to 16 hours in the cooler.
The ice and salt will keept the turkey cool and bacteria free.
Then rinse remove the turkey check for ice and start cooking.
