How to make a quick & easy Christmas T-shirt "J is for Jesus"

Today I made a quick trio of shirts for my kids.

What I used:

3 black white Tees

1 bottle of red puff fabric paint ($3.47 at Walmart for a large bottle or 97 cents for a small bottle, if you're just making one shirt the small bottle will be perfect)

1 bottle of green fabric paint 97 cents at Walmart

Paint brush

Cardboard or poster board to insert inside the T-shirt to prevent paint soaking through to the back.

Directions:

Wash and dry the shirts

Then place cardboard or inserts inside the T-shirt and lay on a flat surface.

Next shake your puff paint and squeeze some on a test plate or napkin.

You can freehand a large J or trace and cut out a J and lay it ontop of the shirt with double stick tape then outline it in the paint.

I freehanded the J.

Then to the right of the J write with the paint  'IS FOR ESUS'

I added three holly berries and 2 or 3 holly leaves with the green paint in the curve of the J.

I also added stripes to resemble the candy cane upside down.

Let it dry for 24 hours or longer before wearing.  You can test the puff paint to confirm it is dry.
