I was a teenager in the 90s, and while this may be true of other eras as well, I remember there being a LOT of matching sets, particularly when it came to home decor. Well…MY SWEATER HAS DUCKS ON IT. Let’s run through some examples! My bedroom is another good example of this. How 90s is this photo?

Most people think clothes when they think about what a thrift shop sells, but these shops often sell a number of other things that people can use in their day to day lives. We want to live WELL on LESS Money. This new routine only costs me $3 for the pick-up and I’m finding it’s well worth it. I’ll use Cascade with Dawn 60 pack as an example that I found for $11. Thrifty Finds in February: I try to hit up my favorite thrift store at least once a month.

As well as other “from scratch” things like my current main hobby of teaching myself how to spin yarn from our sheeps’ wool. Although we had to invest in machines like a plucker and scalder for butchering chickens, as well as the animals and their shelters, eventually our home-raised meat will be basically free.

For example, you can clean your marble surfaces using dishwashing soap and some warm water. The trick is to make sure you have read the labels properly (some cleaning products don’t play well with each other) and do your research on which products can be used on which surfaces. We still have versions of this today.
