Yesterday Bargain Mom fan Melissa Surles posted a picture of some older coupons she found in a binder.

Melissa Surles Do you have any experience with really old coupons that have no expiration date? I was just cleaning out my old coupon binder and found some .50/1 coupons that are maybe from the 80s or 90s for trix, cocoa puffs, golden grahams and lucky charms. Even the barcode is a single strip. Do you think these would still be ok?

The answer is yes.

The manufacturer will have a record of the coupon and will be able to verify that it is a valid coupon and offer the retailer full reimbursement plus the 8 cents they get in Alabama.
