By the end of February, sunset will be at 5:58, giving us 11 hours and 19 minutes of daylight. that the days are noticeably longer I love that the sun comes up a little earlier; that makes it easier to squeeze in a walk, shower, and breakfast before morning lectures. And of course, I love that the sun is setting later (5:35 pm today!)

And then after today, we don’t have another exam until February 29th! This is not particularly challenging math for me, but still, since the stakes are so high, I will feel relieved when it’s behind me. That means a whole two weeks between exams. So, I’m gonna get a head start on it.

If it was summertime, I’d make a smoothie to use these up, but man, I don’t really love drinking a cold smoothie in January/February! Bowl compliments of my Buy Nothing group I stirred about half of the blackberries into my oatmeal yesterday, and I’ll probably use up the rest in a bowl today.

that I didn’t get sick for Zoe’s half-birthday I mentioned last week that back in February, I got sick on Zoe’s birthday. I know that the heat and humidity will return (I can’t count on consistent cool days until October, probably), but this little taste of fall sure did make me happy.
