Today is double up to a $1 coupon day at Food Giant. It has become popular with coupon shoppers because of the chance to use some of those high value coupons for items that may not go on sale as frequently at other grocery stores.

Here is a summary of their coupon policy which can vary by location:
1. They double coupons on Monday only up to $1
2. They do take internet printables but with manager approval only
3. They do take competitor coupons (grocery stores only) but you can not stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon.
4. Store coupons do not double
5. They do not allow overage, the register will auto-adjust coupon for overage.
6. They ad match other competitors Tuesday through Sunday
7. No more than 3 like coupons will be doubled in one transaction.
8. Watch the coupon adjustments to make sure you get your full qualifying discount.
HOW I APPROACHED A TRIP -- GO THROUGH YOUR COUPONS AND PICK OUT $1 COUPONS THAT WERE EXPIRING SOON AND THAT I KNEW WOULD BE RELATIVELY CHEAP. IT WORKED.
NOTE -- A NUMBER OF YOUR COUPONS WILL BE EXPIRING MAY 31 -- THIS IS A GOOD TIME TO PULL THEM AND STOP BY AND SEE IF YOU CAN FIND SOME UNADVERTISED DEALS.
