Yesterday I shared a tip about Dale's Southern Grill Brunch item -- Red Velvet pancakes with cream cheese butter spread for $4.99.
Sounds insanely delish.
I didn't make it over there but they do have the recipe online!
They quickly shared it with me so here it is:
Ingredients
For Pancakes:
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
12 ounces buttermilk
4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon vinegar
2 teaspoon red food color
Mix all the dry ingredients together first… then add all the wet
For Glaze/Icing
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
couple drops of milk to get consistency to drizzle
Chopped Pecans to garnish
