Everyone is asking if the Rite Aid Monthly UP Rewards are cancelled?
It looks like Rite Aid has cancelled all of the Monthly food +UPR for the month of March. This was confirmed by a nice customer service rep who sounded like she had answered this question 900 times before me today.
There are still MANY deals to be had this week at Rite Aid! You can check them out here.
Note: This is for the food items only — it seems as though the others are in tact.

you get more bees with honey then vinegar… I’m always really polite when I’m shopping at these stores, I haven’t had a problem at all with any cvs, rite aid, or walgreens customer service wise. I hate walgreens register rewards, it seems half the time they don’t print. cvs I’ve had the same thing happen twice, where the cashier scans the coupon then tries to scan it again, not realizing the coupon already went through! Rite aid has been a peach when I go to my fav store, I have had some stores that are very poorly stocked but I have never had a problem with them telling me I can’t buy more than 1. When a line forms behind me I take my next transactions to the back of the if there is only 1 cashier on duty… I think it’s only the right thing to do because I know I have at least 4 separate transactions coming up, it gives you brownie points with the cashier as well and they are more willing to force coupons through that wont ring.
In the end, I’m never mean or rude, and I always apologize for having so many coupons and being a pain in the butt. I’ve only been at this for 4 weeks so I’ll see if I keep not getting hassled.
I can’t say the same about the grocery store tho :( the only time I have to really consintrate at grocery shopping (not taking the baby..) is at 7:30pm… every wed I’m the last person to leave the store and according to the “policy” I can’t bring coupons I forgot to use back in the next day!!!! the manager said with attitude he will accept them this once but never again!!!! sigh, I need to get my binder in order.

ugh…. I have 2 /$1.00 UPS that expired yesterday. Has anyone had an experience with Rite Aid…whether they will give a few day’s grace?

We have found a manager that is stocking the store amazingly so that really stinks for him. He has about 100 cans of the tuna on his shelf due to the deal. That’s really not fair to someone like him who pre-ordered correctly for the sale and now his store will be stuck with it. They need to figure it out.

Im still waiting for my rite aid to get in the 20 ester-c gummies they gave me a rain check for from a while back. i love rite aid but am very frustrated with their antics lately. i told them so on the 4 surveys i took.
btw, i took 4 surveys in one month without a problem. maybe it has to do with the fact that it was spread out between 3 different rite aids?
Jen T says
@Tami R., I haven’t had a single survey invitation. =( I’m wondering if they’re piloting this only in certain areas because I should have gotten at least one by now.

From what I understand that the stores who have had “really good ratings” , the survey printing is very rare. I have confirmed it is nationwide with Rite Aid.

I always check my receipt at the cash register to make sure all the uprs print. The cashiers at our store are very friendly and they let me return stuff immediately if it didn’t print an UPR as advertised. Which I had to do today with a few great food deals that were apparently canceled.

There was a lady infront of me using her $20 UP reward from last month, she had a bunch of random food stuff and when the UPS didn’t print the cashier told her they had been cancelled. However here in the state of Michigan false advertisment laws are really strict, the manager was called and had to give the lady a giftcard for the items or she threatened to report the store to the state. It was sad to see, because they were legimatly still listed, infact if there is a sign up for a sale that ended last week they are required by law to honor it. They still had the signs up all over the place with the $1 UPS listed for the entire month and that is considered advertisment.
I get why Rite Aid is doing it, but I really wish they would get there act together, I bought 1 can of Tuna because that is all my store where I now live had. I wish Rite Aid was like CVS, where A) You can get as many EBC deals on a reciept as you want B) You know your limit going in C) The ones around me always tend to have enough stock, I also like how instead of 5 $1 EBCs, you can get a $5 if you buy the same offer. Talking to my friend who is a store manager, she was saying this morning in school at the drop off line, nobody knows whats going on, that the people who know the most are the customer service reps that answer the phones. I feel bad because Rite Aid cannot break the laws of the state but I understand there problem with hoarders (although honestly they should’ve seen it coming, and its not like they are the first company with this kind of a program).
Stephanie says
Any idea WHY they would do that? Just seems strange…

I was angry at the store manager at my riteaid in NC yesterday. I went to get the $5up for spending $15 on the groceries (chips, goldfish, etc.) I wasn’t able to get checked out because the manager wouldn’t let me buy more than 1 of anything. I can’t understand not being able to buy 2 bags of doritos, or 2 goldfish, etc. If that is their definition of a hoarder…..or anyone elses for that matter than they need help.
dizzymommy73 says
@Trish,
I was told I couldn’t buy more then 1 of each item also, and the cashier tried tellng me the Kettle Chips and the Doritos where both chips so they were 1, when it clearly states in the ad buy 2 get 1 UP. I think there is just poor communication to some extent.

Yet another reason I hate shopping at Rite Aid. For some reason I always have issues with Rite Aid whether it’s their checkers not knowing their own coupon policy, UP rewards not printing and the workers not knowing how or even wanting to help fix it, etc.

Riteaid needs to get there act together!

i didnt get the tuna UPs ;( i think i might call riteaid cooperate because my store had it specifically advertised, so it wont hurt to try and get my ups for them.. however on the happier side i went today and got :
2 bleaches
2 pine sols
2 tilex
3 Dixie plates
used my cleaning supply coupons, plus a peelie on the tilex along with 3 off 15 and 2 1 dollar coupons from the VV. i payed 2.78 and used 2.00 UPS, got back 3 UP for cleaning supplies and a 1 SCR for the bleach..
:)
Shannon says
@jessica,
nice job. Good luck with the tuna .. they are being very very strict about that one. Let us know how you make out.
jill b says
sooo, I shouldn’t spend 15 on lays cuz I won’t get the extra 5+ups??? it’s in the ad this week they can’t do that!
Shannon says
No. It is the MONTHLY deals only – as per the list on the link.
Mel says
I didn’t get any of my Ups today. I was only supposed to get one for the Clorox cleaners and one for buying three suppose and nothing printed. Guess I’ll have to call!
Grace says
Well that stinks. I am happy though that I didn’t wait around and picked up some tuna the first week of their promo (@.19 cents/can) ; eventhough, it was more than I would have paid a week later and this week it would have been free. Last week my Rite Aid was wiped out of tuna so I was hoping to get some this week. Oh well….there will be other deals to get.
I wish Rite Aid would stick to their monthly promos though.
On a side note, I was only able to do one survey this month. Any ideas why? I though the limit was 3 per month? I did one and tried to do another one and it told me I already reached a limit for the period. ???? HMMM???

It sounds like to me that RiteAid is teaching the kids in pre-k how to share; if you don’t share you can’t have it kids.
Maybe this will teach the “H” how to behave and leave something for the rest of us next time after they have had time to cool off and go cold turkey for awhile.
Riteaid is not doing anything wrong as they are still whitin the guidelines that the law provides.
Limits Limits Lumits RideAid …. I am sick of going in to pick my grandmother’s prescriptions “she refuses to transfer them” and have to subject myself to the yelling and name calling of the hoarders towards each other or even parents with young children who simply
wanted a candy bar for their child.
Jessica G says
UGh… I LOVE the deals.. .I just wish they would get their act straight. Obviously if you put out a good deal, people are going to take advantage (as in buy not go overboard). I can’t fault them but you can’t advertise a deal and then take it back. Bad form!
D says
Is this for the monthly ones or all the food ups in general? :(
So sad!!?!?
Shannon says
@D,
MONTHLY only.
D says
@Shannon, Ok, thanks! just want to be sure before I go in there today! Thanks for checking that out! :)
Amanda says
Does this differ from like the Lays food reward this week?
Shannon says
@Amanda,
MONTHLY only.
