starts tomorrow:

It's one of my favorite.

Why is it one of my favorite?

1. It involves food

2. It involves Greek Food

3. It involves Greek desserts!

The 40th annual Greek Food Festival starts Thursday and ends Saturday.

You must swing by and check out the culture, the music, the food and the beautiful cathedral.

It's held at Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

FREE PARKING -- 3rd Ave and 20th ST S at the old Liberty National Building

Hours everyday: 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

If you want to just focus on the food they do offer a drive-thru.

It's open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Perfect for those of us who work down town and wanna sneak a little Greek Food in on a lunch break)

The cathedral is at 307 19th St. South. Admission is free so is parking but you'll need to bring your wallet to taste the savory and sweet fare.

TOUR THE CATHEDRAL IF YOU GET A CHANCE -- IT IS BEAUTIFUL.

Watch for the men of the church to be roasting lamb near the festival.  They are dedicated to making it taste delicious.

Watch the dancers -- you will not want to miss the traditional dancing!

A plate with entree, two sides and a salad runs about $9. But you can order a la carte. Go hereto take a look at the menu and to get info on placing phone orders and more.
