Frugal Living: Use Old Baby Socks to Hold Otter Pops

and their knock-offs are a popular summer treat.   My kids love any version I bring home -- excluding the pina colada flavor.

Since they are frozen they can hurt your child's hand.

So I save mismatched and old baby socks as protection for their little hands.

Simply slip the pop down in the sock and you're golden.

There are a number of uses for baby socks.

I also let the kids wear them on their hands to help me dust.

They use socks as oven mitts in their play kitchen.

I also use them to line mittens in the winter.
