Frugal Living: 11 Uses for Old Business Cards

If you have amassed a collection of old business cards and are tempted to throw them away here are some repurpose projects to consider:

1.  Organization: They are perfect or labeling boxes, folders or jotting down notes to slip in your pocket.

2.  Bookmarks:  Punch a hole along a short side, slip a ribbon through the hole and you have a home made bookmark (ribbon is optional of course)

3.  Gift cards: Embellish the side that has contact info.  Use stickers, scrapbook paper etc.  Flip and write your greeting on blank side.

4.  Cleaning key boards and hard to reach cracks:  They are perfect for reaching in between keyboard keys or cleaning cracks and hard to reach crevices in your car.

5.  Photos: Use them to jot down memories or wishes for events or people featured in your photos.  Tape the messages to the back of the photo and frame.

6.  Replace missing cards in children's board games:  They are perfect for replacing missing cards for games such as Candyland or Chutes and Ladders.

7.  Crafts -- Make

, puppets or books for tiny hands.

8.  Clip some together to create a mini notepad.

9.  Use them to level tables or chairs

10.  Use them for edging when painting trim

11.  Make tiny flash cards for your children -- States, Flags, Multiplication tables, spelling words.  Punch a hole in each 'mini-flash card' and insert a clamping ring.
