So great for hauling furniture. And since Sonia’s maximalist self fills her room with all sorts of colorful things, the simple white furniture is perfect for her; a blank slate. ? My bedroom furniture is a mishmash of hand-me-downs and freebies that are all sort of a similar shade of wood, but nothing actually matches except the bed and the dresser. I didn’t snag just any old furniture that came my way, but when I saw something that would work with the wood tones of my free bed and dresser, I picked those up.

When my dad and I picked up a load of furniture from the abandoned house, we grabbed two matching nightstands (not pictured below!) When I paint furniture in a light color, I often have to use caulk to fill in some gaps; the light color makes them rather unsightly. Both for the furniture and for me. Yes, yes she did.

for cool enough weather for sanding Sonia and I bought a storage chest on Facebook Marketplace, and I’m gonna paint it white to match her other furniture. The little flower characters Zoe made are so cute. ? You don’t NEED cool weather for sanding, but the weather yesterday made the sanding process so much more comfortable.
