There is a double dip at Giant with the Kraft Instant Savings deal and the Jello Catalina.
Buy (4) Jello Ready to Eat Desserts $10.00
Buy $15.00 in other products
Total $25.00
Get $7.00 off instantly
Pay $18.00
Get $3.00 Catalina
$15.00 for everything after catalina & instant savings
Now this is presuming you don’t use any coupons. I still need to put together my scenario, but the coupons are limited with this deal.
Thanks, Tara for the heads up on the catalina!
Rachel says
Will catalinas print out more than once for the same purchase? In other words, if I got 10 puddings towards this deal, would I get two $4 coupons or just one? Thanks!
Ryan Fetzer says
Shannon,
Did you put a deal together for the Kraft Instant Savings deal using coupons?
Thank you
Ryan Fetzer

I purchased the kraft deal including 4 of the jello, but did not receive a $3 catalina:( Did I do something wrong, or could it be that their machine was out of paper?
Shannon says
Kristy,
there really is no way to tell for sure – I always recommend checking to make sure the light was on. If you purchased them, I would call catalina marketing for sure.

Progresso soups (mushroom, french onion, tomato, minestrone, vegetable) are 10/$10. Used the $1/3 to stock up for winter! $0.66 is not too bad for progresso. Also used $1/1 Velveeta Cheesy Skillets I had left over from a few months back, making them $1 …and they are included in the Kraft deal…Nice!! :-)
Amy says
coupons are not a discount, they are a form of payment
Shannon says
agreed 100%

The wording is what confused me. It reads after all discounts are applied. I never know if that include coupons. The local Great Value makes you reach the 25 after your coupons but have never tried it at giant. Thanx for the advice!

I don’t know what happened when i went today. I was going to buy 14 Kool Aid Jammers @ $1.88 but for some reason the $7 came off with only 12 Jammers. I had her subtotal it before she rang up the last few. Maybe it came off the regular price or something.
I am just starting a stock pile and the kids take drink boxes to school everyday so $1.30 a box sounds good enough to do it again this week.

After sales, before coupons. I have had cashiers argue with me over this when the discount doesn’t come off though. After having customer service ring it up without coupons and seeing the discount still not come off after $25, they tend to refund the instant savings. :)

There’s coupons for Temptations Jello 3pk. inside the product package $.75/1 DND (do not double), that I’ve been carrying around, it doesn’t expire til 12/31/2012. I’m happy to finally use ’em.
Thanks for the tip on double dipping!
Ruth Jenkins says
It is always before coupons so you don’t need to calculate 25.00 after coupons.

I was able to use quite a few coupons with this deal (didnt know about the Jell-o, doh!). When I donated a few weeks ago, Giant gave out those coupon books and there were coupons in there for the Maxwell House $1/1, Mac & Cheese $1/3, Mayo $1/2, and Kraft Singles $1/2 (a bunch of others too but didnt really apply to this scenario). I also used the $1/2 coup for the Stove Top.
Andrea says
Thanks for reminding me about those kraft coupons!

Hi! With the kraft deal: Do you know if you have to reach $25 before or after coupons? I am always so confused with these kind of deals.
Grace says
Usually it is before. I hope that is how it works this time around too. Did anyone do the deal that can report back?
Jamee says
The ad said $25 after all discounts were applied, so I tend to error on the side of caution and made sure I hit the $25 after all coupons.
fayeba says
it is after all coupons :(
