This event will be held at the Babe Ruth Field and Centre City Park. The date for this event is June 9, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The committee expects to have approximately 1,500 people to attend this charity event. The event will be family oriented with several activities for children including, but not limited to, inflatables and face painting. The City Park will also be available for the children. Other forms of entertainment include live bands throughout the day as well as karaoke. Vendors will be available on-site. A raffle will be held with various prizes donated by local businesses. The antique car and tractor clubs will be in attendance as well. There will be many signs posted to assure that no alcohol will be allowed at the event. The Wildlife Center: Located in Oak Mountain State Park, it is the largest wildlife rehabilitation center in Alabama and cares for over 2,000 injured and orphaned wild creatures each year. Visitors may view the rehabilitation process through one-way glass and learn about native species.

The tallest point in Alabama is a beautiful drive through the mountains.  Take Bald Rock trail out to a gorgeous overlook.

Colorful Kite Tales Exhibition chronicles the colorful history and science of kites.
