Throw some of these flashing cube lights into cups for more party atmosphere. They light up as soon as they touch liquid. Head to your nearest Party City or other party store for colorful platters and bowls and cheap drinking cups. I'm partial to the aluminum Ball cups , because they keep stuff really cold and they are recyclable.

I still pay a visit there, starting with a stop out front to the colorful prayer shrine, where I donate a buck or two and light a stick of incense to give me some luck (either it doesn't work at Caesars, or else I'm just giving money for my own enjoyment). Donate some change or a few dollars, light a stick of incense and say a little prayer.

I also just tossed some gold coins that I always have on-hand around the table, for a little extra flair and wealth manifestation.

I dressed the tree in "gingerbread" holly leaves, cookies, macarons, peppermints, and topped it with a giant Bertie Botts Every Flavour Bean box with cascading beans coming out of it, which I made myself with foam clay, then painted, and attached to wire lights, so they would look like they were coming out of the open box.
