The Alabama Wildlife Center is expecting! The nonprofit organization will receive more than 900 baby bird patients this year. Community members are invited to a free and fun "Baby Bird Shower." Guests will enjoy:

    Blood Mobile will be There Too

    From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the blood mobile will be at Cosby Lake accepting blood donations at the Clay Kids Fishing Rodeo. According to Kieth Johnson, with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, the donated blood will go to Birmingham area hospitals.

    Each pint of blood can save up to 3 lives.
