Last November I ran my first full marathon through the five boroughs of New York City. The New York City Marathon has a surprising amount of hills, but the one that really gets you sits right at the 23-24 mile mark and is very long and very slow. 1 Pacing Yourself Is Key. 4 Hills Suck.
