I walked 111 miles in October (my usual average before school was about 100 miles, give or take a few), so I’m really happy with 111 miles. And once the time change happens this coming weekend, it will actually be easier to walk in the early mornings before class since the sun will be up an hour earlier.

In fact, it looks like the last time was October 2021. See #4 for the chair story! I placed a Chewy order and used TopCashback Oddly, I’d forgotten about TopCashback for a while! Anyway…I needed some litter and food for Shelley and Chiquita, and Chewy’s prices for those beat the brick and mortar stores around here.

I know that the heat and humidity will return (I can’t count on consistent cool days until October, probably), but this little taste of fall sure did make me happy. That’s an extremely happy-making thing. Chiquita LOVES it when the windows are open.

During those sessions, we get an hour in the nursing lab to practice skills that we will be tested on at the end of October. I sign up for one of those at least once a week, sometimes more. These are things like: vital signs a head-to-toe assessment injections various oxygen masks (nasal cannula, non-rebreather bag, a Venturi mask, etc.)
