This is better than endless nights of eating out, but definitely not as frugal as an organized trip to Aldi. What I Spent So I went to pull together my grocery spending for the week and I realized that it’s all quick trips to Safeway. I spent $63 at Safeway, spread out between an embarrassing number of trips.

Thankful Thursday | I am not qualified

We can pray for peace, we can donate to (reputable, responsible) organizations that can help the suffering people, AND we can focus on doing good right where we are. So, deep breath. Part of that for me is facilitating a thankfulness practice here. I have concluded that nursing school life just requires a lot of efficiency and hard work.

I got myself a little more organized on the school front. I’m pleased to report that I am feeling slightly less negative than yesterday. I cleaned up my room. I went for a walk. I had a phone call with Lisey, texted with Sonia, and had in-real-life convos with Zoe. ? I snuggled with Chiquita.

But if you want a more organized recipe with measurements and all, click here for a chicken noodle soup recipe. I didn’t really measure anything; I used two carrots, an onion, two stalks of celery, a healthy shake of thyme, some salt and pepper, and then of course the chicken broth and the leftover chicken. 10/10, would recommend.
