What We Ate Saturday I had a few Dinnerly meals left from a box last week and this was one: smash burgers with a special sauce, plus oven potato wedges. Monday I made another Dinnerly meal; this one was chicken Parmesan burgers, with oven fries. I spent: $30 on a Hungry Harvest box $14 on Domino’s So, I guess just $44 for me!

Sunday Leftover sandwiches; they’re great reheated in the toaster oven on the air-fryer setting. I never had room for a toaster oven at my other house, but I do really like having one here, especially for reheating things or making two-person servings of food. We had some raw veggies and fruit on the side.

For myself, I sauteed a single chicken thigh from the freezer, topped it with a chive/sour cream sauce, and I also had some oven fries and a broccoli salad. Wednesday Zoe didn’t get home until later, so she ate some leftover sandwiches. Thursday I made burgers, potato cubes, and sauteed broccoli.

To make croutons, I usually just saute bread with butter and garlic powder on the stovetop and then do the final crisping in the toaster oven, on the air fryer setting. my buy-nothing-group toaster oven on my buy-nothing group table Tuesday This was my first super long day at school and I did a great job of packing my lunch.

Polly’s got some tweaks to share for this one; she uses 2x the garlic, oven-bakes the chicken, and serves it with pasta and red sauce or alfredo. If you have problems with dry, flavorless chicken, you really, really should give this one a try! Lots of Clusters Granola This is hands-down my favorite granola recipe ever.

I had an open lab from 4:30-5:30, so I just had Zoe turn on the oven for the preheating while I was gone, and then when I came home I made the pizzas. Fear not; we have vinyl replicas of those body parts so that we do not have to practice on actual humans for now!)
