What's the Phoenix Festival?
The Alabama Phoenix Festival is a celebration for persons who passionately pursue creativity and imagination. We are creating a family friendly event where these individuals can come together and share common interests. We understand that the people who like science fiction, fantasy and other forms of speculative fiction are the engineers, scientists, artists and writers who are so important to the development of our community and state. We feel it is important that these people have an event where they can interact with each other in a setting that encourages creative exchanges of ideas. It is even more important that activities such as this be available to encourage the next generation to pursue creative fields, of which they may not even be aware of.
