PepsiCo is planning a price increase over the next month and if you purchase the products you'll need to make sure you stock up when you see it on sale.
According to an article by SmartBrief and Bloomberg the increase is do to higher cost of commodities:
"Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo, said the beverage company is planning to increase prices "right now as we speak" to offset the higher cost of commodities. "The economy is better now than it was last year," she said. "Ultimately the test is going to be when unemployment rates come down. Everybody is focused on it."
I asked Grocery Manufacturers Association if this was a trend, here's the response:
