Simple Ways to Save Money This Month on Bills
Is there anybody you know who doesn’t want to save more money? The banks are paying a lot less interest on our savings accounts and CDs while they are charging a lot more for our credit card debt. Many of us have watched our retirement account values sink while our jobs and businesses have become less stable. Everybody I talk to feels the pressure from the recent economic downturn. So what we need are some way to reduce our monthly bills so we can save money every month.

How We Paid Cash for a 2008 Toyota Sienna Mini-Van
To get to the place where we paid cash we radically changed our attitude and relationship to money.
We started saving. It wasn’t until we committed to get out and stay out of debt that we got serious about saving money. We began to save 10% of our net income and over time increased it to 10% of our gross income.
We paid cash for a new-to-us 2008 Toyota Sienna last month. The thrill of seeing that the check cleared the bank was second only to writing the check that paid off our last non-mortgage debt.

Do you know one of the easiest ways I save money every month? Think how much money you could save if you drink water instead. (not Every time you would have bought a soda, (whether at work, at the grocery store, or when eating out) put the money you would have used in a jar . At the end of the month, take the money from the I do not drink soda (or pop, or coke, or carbonated beverages - whatever you call it in your part of the world). That's right.

personal savings rate jumped to 3.6% Apparently the savings rate has been zero or close to it for years. And when the economy turns around will the savings rates continue or will Americans go back to their spendthrift ways? When life gives you an ear infection, make sure you get a gift card.
Anyway, we have a health savings account that we use to pay for our medical out of pocket expenses. On the bright side, I'm an optimist and I now have a $25 gift card from one of my favorite stores, CVS . Tags: Saving Mone Out of the blue last Thursday I got an incredible pain in my left ear. It started around 6pm and by 10pm I couldn't stand it anymore so I downed a couple of Aleve so I could fall asleep.
