Ok, well, not entirely carefree. Seriously, if you have not tried this simple chicken marinade, you should! And it works equally well with chicken breasts as it does with chicken thighs. Being un-picky and having no allergies sure does make eating simple! What I Spent This week was definitely one of adjustment!

I am sure that if I did it again now, I’d do a better job, but it turned out well enough to give me inspiration to do more painting. A few things that make a good first project: do something with simple lines. A simple paint job is a good start. Ornate pieces with lots of curves and detail make it harder to sand and paint.

And I filled a few spots on the sides as well. And since Sonia’s maximalist self fills her room with all sorts of colorful things, the simple white furniture is perfect for her; a blank slate. ? I really, really love how this looks in simple white; so classy. There were a lot to fill on the top! Long live the minivan!

We don’t live super frugally, but we do live well within our means and try not to be wasteful with our resources. I hope I can teach my kids as well as my parents taught me. She gives words to the way I try to live, and it’s really validating to see someone else doing it so well. Me in one of my money mistakes!

Well, I have to go into the lab at school and have a professor watch me do a bunch of tasks on a manikin. Simple Nursing with Nurse Mike is helpful, and if you don’t mind a strong southern accent, Registered Nurse RN is good (her accent is polarizing among nursing students, I’m finding!)

As an adult, it’s important to me to continue to be generous, as well as, provide financial security for myself and my family. Paper is one of my favorite simple, yet frugal sources of entertainment! At age 12, I started saving up my allowance and babysitting money to buy Christmas gifts for other children who were less fortunate.
