We celebrated my son’s 19th birthday at the Mansion, it was one he will never forget! My son enjoyed their famous, lobster spaghetti and he said it was absolutely delicious. If only, these walls could talk. It was like stepping back in time. You can dine under the stars or around the pool. It was a beautiful experience.

There is nothing I wouldn’t do or sacrifice for my son. I love my son to the moon and back. My love for my son reminds me of that same love that Jackie has for her baby chicks. A mother’s love is unlike any other. This eagle reminds me of the sacrifice, hard work, dedication and grit that it takes to be a mother.

My son loved it! Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but my son used the workout facility twice and loved it. The Elser Hotel & Residences offers an oasis in the cosmopolitan heart of Downtown Miami. Like I said, it is a vibe. It is more than a hotel.

As you know my son has flown the nest. I am still actively involved in my son’s life. Be a bird launcher! It has been a big change at our house, adjusting to life without your children at home. He has moved into the dorm and my husband, and I found ourselves as empty nesters. He still needs me, maybe even a little more now.

Finally, I found some clothing for my husband and son that was still new with the tag at the thrift store that they loved! And so, I started. I thrifted items for my dad because he loves old books and coins. Then I expanded to gift items for my mom. That is when I decided to thrift all of my gifts this year for Christmas.

Though I don’t consider it a place to thrift, but it definitely deserves a spot on my list if you like antiques and vintage items. Open Monday- Saturday 10 am – 5pm.
