I received this from CVS explaining the new ad Alabama residents will receive this Sunday.
Starting March 4 the weekly circular, we are providing a 20% off shopping pass good for most of the products in store - this will be in select areas. Some Alabama residents will receive a 3 day pass and others a 7 day pass.
You will not be able to get the 20% off shopping pass in the store.
If you are among those receiving a 20% off pass ad, you will not receive a regular ad.
For central Alabama you will more than likely receive a new CVS regular circular in your Wednesday paper.
The ad you receive Sunday will have only 1 ECB deal included.
CVS wants your feedback which you can share with them here and here.
HERE IS AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT TO EXPECT VIA CVS
This provides customers with a savings opportunity on many more products than our circular typically offers, while also giving customers the ability to create a personalized sale based on the products they choose to purchase with the shopping pass.
Here are the scenarios that affect our market:
- · Select locations in
- · Select locations in
- As with many of our coupons, the 20%-off shopping pass may be used only on non-sale offers
- · Select locations in Connecticut and New York and a few locations in Massachusetts, Vermont, and Pennsylvania will receive a one-page circular insert in newspapers that features a 20%-off 7-day shopping pass and hot sale offers. The one-page circular will be available in-store, however the 20% off shopping pass will not be available in-store.
A couple of additional notes:
Soda and beer sales listed in the one-page circular inserts will run for the entire week in each of the three test scenarios.
