Five Frugal (mostly tiny) Things

Well, that’s because we were busy eating up everything we had. I packed the chicken as a salad, using the sauce as a dressing, plus I brought some carrots, Triscuits (well, the Aldi kind!), Not having to stir the granola while it bakes: FABULOUS. By Sunday of this week, it was pretty darn near empty in my fridge.

Although we had to invest in machines like a plucker and scalder for butchering chickens, as well as the animals and their shelters, eventually our home-raised meat will be basically free.

that Sonia was willing to stay with our cats Sonia is house-sitting for us, so our cats are being well-loved. that Lisey is doing so well at work When I landed here, she texted to say she’d been nominated as an MVP at work. And on the leg from home to Chicago, I got a window seat, with no one in the middle seat!
