That leather jacket is one that Nathan picked up for me at a thrift store this winter. I am working again. Which means I am getting dressed. This is my second week and mostly I am trying to just get used to the grind again. Putting together an outfit and taking pictures has just been too much extra. Until today. The lights and glamour is something that I crave. Sparkle and glitz is always a girl best friend, whether it be some bling or just a accent of shine we can all appreciate some shine. It’s true what they say, you look better when you are well rested. I’ve had trouble sleeping for years now. I am one of those restless sleepers who wake up several times a night. I knew I wanted a black shrug to make it work for the office, but I am not really shopping for new clothes right now, so I was looking at thrift stores and not finding what I needed. It took me a while to really figure out how I wanted to style this top, but I am glad I took the time to get it right. Because we are broke, I’ve been trying on jeans at thrift stores, Ross, and second hand stores. When I got home last night and set about taking pictures in the back yard it just didn’t go well.
